- Vacuum glass can be used independently, or it can be made into hollow vacuum composite glass, laminated vacuum composite glass, and solar vacuum composite glass.
- When the window is made of vacuum glass, it is preferably designed as a casement window. Ordinary sliding windows are not easy to play the role of vacuum glass because of the tight sealing.
- Vacuum glass should be selected according to different climatic conditions, uses and functions.
- Vacuum glass cannot be cut, and the length and width of vacuum glass matched with different window frame materials are the same as that of insulating glass.
- Non-tempered vacuum glass should be used vertically under normal conditions, and the tempered vacuum glass can be installed obliquely or horizontally.
- Vacuum glass should be inspected for appearance quality before use. Do not use vacuum glass with cracks and obvious scratches. Scratching a hard object on the surface of a vacuum glass can cause damage, even if it does not fail at that time, which will greatly reduce the service life.
- Protect the glass corner protection cap before installation. Squeeze, collision and manual disassembly are strictly prohibited.
- The edge of the vacuum glass should not be exposed and must be installed in the window frame.
- The vacuum glass installation position should be away from the heating and cooling equipment to avoid cold and hot air blowing directly on the glass.
- When the vacuum glass is used, the vacuum eye is installed at the upper corner of the window.
- When the vacuum glass is used at a temperature difference of more than 50 °C on both sides, use tempered vacuum glass.
- During the process of handling, installing and using vacuum glass, vibration and impact should be prevented. When transporting, only vertical handling is allowed. Vacuum suction cups are forbidden. When placed on the ground, a soft rubber pad should be placed under the glass. The glass should not be in direct contact with the concrete floor to avoid corner breakage.
